New and modern accommodation of 32 square metres with four sleeping places. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Toilet and shower. You are staying in what we like to call “the countryside centre” — surrounded by open grazing fields with cows and horses.

Only 3 km to the sea and 5 km to swimming areas, piers, kiosk (June–August), marina and opportunities for sea fishing. At the same distance you will also find a bakery and café. Marstrand, one of Sweden’s most popular tourist destinations, is just a 19-minute drive away. Less than one hour by car from Landvetter Airport.

The accommodation

Completely renovated in 2023. Bright and modern 32 sqm living space with a fully equipped kitchen, fridge and freezer, and bathroom with shower.

Bedroom with door and a sofa bed for two people (IKEA Hemnes, 160×200). Wardrobe with baskets and clothes hangers. Small work desk with chair.

Living room and kitchen area with TV (Chromecast) and a sofa bed for two people (144×200). The accommodation is compact, and if four guests are staying, this sofa bed may need to be folded away during the daytime to create more space. This also provides easier access to the bathroom door. Please note that the refrigerator is located close to this sofa bed and may be noticeable at night for sensitive sleepers (no guest has mentioned this as a problem so far).

Kitchen with induction hob, microwave, full-size oven, coffee maker, kettle, glasses and tableware. Window facing the surrounding nature and dining table with seating for four. High chair available (IKEA Antilop).

Bathroom with washbasin, mirror cabinet and shower. Towel shelf and radiator.

Small outdoor seating area next to the accommodation with gravel ground. Two chairs and a sofa with cushions stored in a cushion box. A canopy is available June–August, and longer if weather allows.

Guest access

The accommodation is located in a separate ground-floor building with its own entrance and code lock. Approximately 10 metres from the main house (host’s residence).

Other things to note

• The water heater holds 50 litres (2000W), which is typical for small houses in Sweden. If all hot water is used, it takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to heat up again. Short showers usually provide enough hot water for everyone.
• Cleaning is included, as well as duvets, pillows, bed linen, sheets and towels (one set per person and stay, for indoor use).
• For hygiene reasons, we kindly ask guests not to use their own bed linen, sleeping bags or similar. Duvets and pillows may only be used together with the bed linen we provide. Thank you for your understanding.
• A car is required to reach the accommodation and to get around the area.
• There is a small garden pond (2×2 metres) with goldfish.
• We are beekeepers and have a few beehives located at the edge of the property.
• As we are in the countryside close to nature, insects may naturally appear both outdoors and indoors. An electric fly swatter is available in the accommodation.
• Tap water is drinkable throughout Sweden — and ours is of very high quality.
• Bookings through agents are not accepted. The person making the booking must be the same person staying at the accommodation. Thank you.
